You’re not broken. Your system adapted.

Within my holistic, toolbox of six trauma specialties, we do a lot of assessments and talking up front. I do a lot of psycho-education and teach you some amazing tools for your toolbox before we drop in, under the water line of your subconscious and unconscious (as you’re ready) to explore how your system adapted. The beauty is that I can see and feel what really lands for you and follow your lead. With 35 years of exploring self study with folx, It’s really that simple. I hold the flashlight. Your willingness to show up ~ does the work.

Ways to Work Together

Trauma Intensives

for people who want concentrated, focused work rather than traditional weekly therapy.

Nervous System Therapy for Chronic Pain

for people who may have more than one diagnosis affecting how they feel. I specialize in dual-diagnosis.

Somatic Psychodynamic Psychotherapy

for people who want a mix of talk therapy and bite size pieces of working in the body

Sensory System Integration

for people who want to solely focus on paying attention to what is happening inside their system by tuning into their experience inside. Many tools for facilitating this include art, music, movement, listening to specifically filtered music to “exercise the nervous system.” Many additional somatic modalities such a guided meditation, breathwork, gestalt therapy, yoga therapy within my specialty of bhakti yoga, developing a daily somatic home practice, and Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy, a modality to treat complex trauma and dissociative disorders. I use aspects of polyvagal theory with somatic experiencing and more. I have developed my own somatic approach from 35 years of working somatically with myself and others. I am a Certified Personal Trainer and Registered Yoga Teacher who’s entire life has been devoted to merging movement into mental health.

Two Hour Assessment & Introduction to Somatic Intensives
$600.00

As warm & caring as any Clinician can be, it’s about the tools in our backpack, the knowledge of how to befriend them, & most importantly the timing of the execution that makes all the difference in Trauma Therapy. The shear willingness of both parties to show up & trust one another already starts the delicate process of leaning into the vulnerable parts of ourselves. I’ll be your Clinician, ready to hold the flashlight. The ability to find an attunement in the healing relationship has become my most treasured aspect of being a Somatic Psychotherapist specializing in Dissociation, Complex Trauma & Addictions of all varieties. “Assessment” continues far beyond the first session, but here we create the base of doing intensive work together to decide if proceeding together as a 2 day immersion client feels like a competent & worthwhile effort.

My Theoretical Philosophy

Longer sessions are necessary for our nervous systems to have time to register our competency & connection with our provider, ourselves and of course our pain. The one hour weekly model is dying because we don’t have time not to live our life. Trauma responses bypasses the logical brain & I have the tools to accelerate your process in my 2 hour & 2 day Intensives.

Your body holds the story; our senses are the doorway to untangling it.
